The strange thing about this car, is it's got the standard Diff. But it can on occasion out accelerate same model and year Xr6. Occasionally, most of the time it can't... It's so unstable, but I guess that's just age... .Unless something maybe wrong with it.

A bog stock XT vs a boc stock XR6 of same year and model, an XT SHOULD win as it is slightly lighter.

But you probs getting done by XR6's that have a little bit of work.
Get a nice set of rims, lower, sway bays and a fully sick sound system and you will have a nice car :)

f**k the sound system.. I can't be assed shaking my car to s**t with one hahahahaha, I hardly listen to the radio. I've done a s**t load of courses, driving, advanced... for an 18 year old I can honestly say that my best trait, is my driving skills... ( To me, because I love driving)

But yeah, most likely mod Xr6's beating me. Xr6 has the gear diff, takes off a little better. Cousin had a 2003 Xr6, stock... better take off hahaha

now a xr6 is just a xt with a bodykit and fancy interior

hahaha, What did you get done first? when modding?

But yeah, I do love the XT... because so many P platers get the Xr6... Mine just sits there...

Being 18, new to the scene and extremely advanced... I want speed... I spent the last 5 months in a GT-P whilst the owner recovered from a Broken arm (Legal due to it being a company car, and he enlisted me as a driver) - don't ask how it worked... THAT WAS THE BEST 5 MONTHS OF MY ENTIRE LIFE

Now that I'm back to my good Ole Dependable XT, I want to increase it somewhat... cheaply of course HAHAHA, I'm not into the whole HEAVY LOOK MODS, I interior mods, not exterior mods. Keep it standard, so people will buy it later on.

As has been said, do a full exhaust system. Make it breath better by getting a second snorkel put on through the bottom. You could increase the size of your throttle body. Tuned. A fairly good service as stupid as it sounds. Things like tranny and diff aswell while being serviced get them done too. And so on.

Cheers

I'll be looking for a job then, and I'll need to find time where I don't need my car, so it can be edited. But yeah, $1000+ not easy to come by when nobody wants to hire you... f**k a**hole, Traffic Control here I come!

a bigger throttle body won't help unless he's pulling over 500hp lol it would be overkill for the price he'd pay.

but yeah, allowing the engine to breath better will help a lot. and I'm f**k jealous you got to drive a GT-P for 5 months... nothing beats 335hp of pure v8 grunt!!!

go to the the WadeCams section in this forum, and talk to the mod there and ask for a cam spec. give him full details on what is going to be done to the car, being auto, how many km's. everything. he will send you a PM with a price for a cam and its specs.

new cam will give you a lot of power for a pretty reasonable price. (and they sound f**k awesome, getting my in a week :D :D :D)

Yeah, SS 277hp. GT-P 335. let me guess as to who's going to win that one :D.

Ummm, I'm not the best to explain what a cam is. And as to how much HP they give, depends on the cam you get. The one I'm getting has a lot of lift, and it's quite aggresive. once I get it in, I'll be getting new diff gears and mini-spool, then tune and then it's 1/4 mile time :D hopefully get sub 14.

Well, when you've got it in, and the diff changed, tell me what you changed to hahahaha and give us a buzz about the details... We're in two totally different states, so copycatting is allowed HAHAHAHA!
