Anybody used a crow 2222549? think it would be a dog box in a EF auto?

The power range does still start fairly low at 1100. But the 222002 would be my pick with the down low torque.

i have one of these for sale. had it in my ef. im after $250 for it. ran fine. was not a dog. and mine was auto

Yeah im still looking around, also looking at a wade 1636, but to me the 222459 looks better, when looking at the cams specs what should I be looking at eg the Valve lift, Duration? what gives the cam its power?

It depends what you want from the cam.

mainly just looking at the 1636's and the 2222459's specs to see which one is gonna make the most power on a dyno for the most part.

why dyno power?
it wont be much good on a hill over taking or off the lights blasting past a vr commodore..
dyno figures are for boys with little penises who need to play mines bigger than youres..

My Falcon is not a daily driver I just like to stuff a*** around with the engine etc and see how much I can pull out of it, whats wrong with that?

Anyone know whats with the crow cams being measured at .075" instead of the normal .050"
Wade lists their duration at .050 so it seems like it would be hard to compare their profiles.

there is another section on the crow web site where the 549 cam is measured at 50.


anyway, the 2222549 is.....
210@50 on intake
200@50 on exhaust.


i still have on of these for sale for $250
