Hey I have decided to put a 250 2V im ny 64 falcon. I was wondering what i can do to the engine to give it a little more go nothing mental just so it cruises well but has the go to get me out of trouble if/when i need to. They came out with 170hp (127kw) so i'm thinking 180hp (135kw) would be enough. any help would be great.
Cheers Ben |

My cousin had this exact combo in an XY sedan with a top loader, and for a 6 it went quite hard - was very unexpected! |

I agree, thats the easy combo to do for easy power. You may have trouble with having a 14" air cleaner assembly because of the body struts. See how you go anyway.

Hi,
these are a good motor but where they suffer is torque - mine's in a XB coupe on lpg so I'm asking a lot of it but its pretty good - they actually seem to have less torque than a non 2v motor but you might go better in an xm-p type shape (much lighter) - also keep to a manual gbox - would be sluggish with an auto....
