So If I went into ford and asked for a XH snorkel to put onto a NA Fairlane they would know what I mean or would I need a part number? Also Im I right in thinking that this snorkel will go striaght on with out and modifcations?

Thanks

Just ask for an XH snorkel. But you will need to do some modifications.

You have to cut the old snorkel out if you have an EA/NA, and drill two small holes in the radiator support panel so that you can screw the snorkel down.

It's quite obvious what you have to do when you go to do it.

Cheers.

Looking for a set of Headlights for my EB XR6. My baby is green. I want the round headlights, already have the original set in good working order.

I fitted el thermos to my eb2 and found engine to be alot quieter, smoother, quicker warm up and some power increase. Temp sits on quarter most of the time and rises to half when idlin in traffic for a while. Cost $270 for fans and $40 for adjustable temp switch. Also put 82 degree thermostat,ef thermostat cover housing,ef top hose and xh snorkel. No dramas so far after 9 months. :D :D :D

why does it rise to half in traffic?
my 16inch thermo keeps the car right on the bottom of normal even in 45 degree days stuck in traffic????????????/

You shoul dbe able to get a local mechanic/performance shop to do the install/tune work for you.

i hear it's quite common for it to crack, but none of my 3 manual falcons ever developed it.
