Extractors were $500 at exhaust shop
Exhaust was $280 at same shop
Cam was bought second hand for $100 (add things like shims $50, seals $15)
Shiftkit was made for $10
XH snorkel bought from ford for $30
EA intake tube bought for $10 at wreckers

And look at that, $995! use the $5 to buy some fine sandpaper and polish the inside of ya throttlebody!!! LOL.

Yeah awesome job on the list. so have you noticed any significant gains in the power or response since adding that $1,000 worth of gear to it????

The PH4480 and PH4490's are different lengths I was told.
They have longer secondary's to increase bottom end power...

Or so went the pitch I got at the exhaust place, too bad for him I'd already decided what I wanted and got him to import them specially. :)

Ah also do you know if the thermofan mod will definately fit into an EA ???
The project vehicle in the other website you linked to was an EB, the battery and resevoir tank layout is slightly different.
In the EA the battery is on an angle to the front of the car and the resevoir tank is placed in behind it taking up quite abit of room...

Yea, should be no dramas. The fans themselves fit up to the same radiator.

i just noticed on the 1st page you were asking about rwkw figures with the mods - mine seems to have most, so i'll work from the intake onwards, and go thru what mine has:

-AUIII XR8 snorkel
-K&N panel filter
-EL intake system
-Stg2 Crow Cam
-Pacemaker 4499's
-Hi-Flo cat
-2 1/2" exhaust (lukey i think) w/ resenator removed

no diff upgrades or anything yet  but that set-up has been dyoned at 130rwkw/172rwhp (stock EF's are about 95-100rwkw) - however that was with stock snorkel, and a 3" mandrel intake w/ exposed pod filter - so was a bit hot. i'm also looking at getting the vernier gear put in for my cam, just to try and pick up whatever i can. so hopefully that gives some people an idea on what gains they might get...

pretty sure it was done at the dyno-day that all the FM guys attended last year sometime - so at least it might tie in with other results the perth guys have got
