I got the Pacemaker headers and high flow cat thru to 2.5" exhaust the note is beautiful, performance is smoother and a little more punchy. I am now looking at cold air intake. I have not thought much about Cams. Maybe from what I have read it may be a good idea.

Anyone know what it might cost me to get an LSD installed and what the best choice for an EA Auto would be?

I'm in the process of getting a LSD diff for my auto EA2. After reading a lot of posts, I've settled for a 3.7. Some of the other chaps here recommend a 3.9 or 4.11. For me, a 3.7 will be compromise between acceleration and fuel economy. I've been quoted $450 for a reco diff, $130 for a bearing kit (includes rear axles) & $440 for labour. I bought a good secondhand set of gears on eBay for $250. If you have a Borg Warner diff, you can probably use a 25 spline LSD from a VK/VL Commodore. The EF/EL uses a 28 spline diff.

3.7 would be better economy than 4.11 (correct me if wrong) 4.11 would however be quicker for accerlation

So 3.7 would still offer power advantages on stock ratios?

If you've got a ratio of 2.9 to 3.23, then you will notice the difference in acceleration. As the BTR 4 speed auto has a high 1st gear, going to a lower diff ratio will help you get off the line quicker. Not that I'm advocating street drags, but some of these impatient ##**!! Commodore drivers are asking for it. The lower diff ratio will only make use of your available hp.
Changing the diff ratio, like non-standard tyre sizes will put your speedo out as well. There may not be a significant difference in the revs between a 3.7 and a 4.11, but on a trip to Qld you'll notice the drop in fuel economy. I used to have a Toyota Corona with 4.11s and the screaming engine was irritating on a trip.
