i would remove one of the shims and try again...
is there any markings on the end of the cam??
regrinds will have the profile number stamped on the end..

otherwise the seller may have just sold you a stock cam???

as troyman said there should be something stamped into the cam somewhere to prove what it is, did you add 2 shims to it or did you only add one extra? because the rockers need 1 shim standard, and when its a regrind cam you only add 1 more shim making it equal to 2 shims each rocker arm, if you added 2 than that would mean you may have actually got 3 in there? just double check this aswell

Can anyone suggest a set of extractors, car will spend its time between 2-3000 RPM, is going to get a CMS stage 2 head and cam package soon too.

I'm after a good low down/mid range torque, don't really want up high.

Thanks mate, decided on the Pacemaker 4499, also;

I changed the exhaust from the cat back a few months ago, as the one on it was completely rusted, but I just went with a normal type system with press bends, would it be worth it upgrading to a 2.5" mandrel bend one when the extractors come?
