Shugg Mate I got 125 rwkws with an air fuel ratio of 10 -10.8 all the way..so even a leak in my manifold will make my car improve. I am just running a cam and xorst at the moment. My current ecu hates the cam so it needs the chip to make it work properly. Tommorow night the final mod will be complete and hopefully one red light munching grandpa wagon will be blowing a few fellow wogs off at the lights...especially the ones with fluoro lights...hate the bloody things!!

$1300, the same as what I was quoted for unichip & chiptorque installations. It's expensive, but worth every penny. Shugg |

Shugg wrote: Differences between the AUII XR6 and the EF Futura. Weight, Gear and Diff ratio's etc...
Our cars are near identical in terms of running gear now. I'm running a 3.45 LSD and 17" rims with 235 tyres, the same as Shugg. We're both running T5 manual gearboxes which I can only assume have the same gear ratios (riding in his car it feels like it) Shugg has 170+ rwkw on paper, my engine is supposed to make that and I have the quarter mile time comparable to what 170kw JMM cars have run. The only difference I can think is the weight. I would have thought mine would be a little lighter but apparently the AU's are lighter than the EFs (I started a thread asking these questions about a month back) Useless, traffic light wars are fun but driver skill can play a big part when it comes to reaction time, lauching and getting traction. In gear accelleration is a better way to compare the 2 cars

Well,
There you have it. It looks like the set ups are the same, and I am sure the weight difference between both cars is minimal. Hyena has more racing experience than me and quicker reaction times, but I have to say, his car is still, marginally, more powerfull than mine (probably 5-10kw). But like Hyena said "a wins a win". But I also know that we are both totally happy with what power we are achieving with our ITS Engines. Hyena, like I said, you need to get another dyno run on the same machine as I did. Your 145rwkw figures in all ways have to be wrong. Shugg |

Large difference between auto and manual is likely to be due to gearing.... look at the speed in the frist graph...
Gret result there shuggs.... I wouldnt think there is much more to be had without going forced induction or bottle feeding?

Happy with what I have. The engine is already running high compression. Forced induction is out of the question, and bottle feeding does not appeal to me. Thanks for the comments, everyone. Well I promised that id post.My chip got done and the air fuel is perfect .I gained 18-13 rwkws throughout the rev range and a peak of around 10 rwkws. The total figure came to 134 rwkws.A dismal top end power but the car feels awesome to drive now.It feels like a v8!!
I may be checking the measurements of my cam to make sure it is ok.It has never performed the way it should have from the first day of installation. http://photobucket.com/albums/y119/usel ... an0001.jpg

See what sorting out the AFR's does. I bet she feels like a different car, like you said "feels like a V8". Good work Shugg |

about the computer again, did that replace the standard ecu or is it just a piggyback unit like a unichip?

The Haltech Interceptor is a piggy back unit. |
