370kw approx...and about $130,000 i would guess, which would make it twice the price of an F6...

a boosted turbo 6 would still kill it

Alot of people dont want to have to wait until 3000 till the vacuum cleaner kicks in........

Turbos are great, especially when they come on boost, but the v8's torque down low is a different drive altogether, imagine a huffer on the v8.... The seppos have the turbo 4.6's well into the 8's street registered....

Im sure ford wont dump the v8, they should learn their lesson from before.

And maybe 310 kw's might be great, the torque would be awesome too, the question is, when they drop the I6, will ford customers be looking to 8 cylinders for a more torquey drive, especially when the v6 is a dissapointment?

from the power and torque figures yes. Its just another v6 in the croud.

I think its 197KW lol wonder why they stopped the I6 at 195.... cant have it flogging that yank high revving torqueless turd box. A flash tuned i6 probably would run what 220+kw?

top post is old news.. if not good news!.. cant wait for F6 road and track time test's... apparently the FG GT is much much better now.. more torque at lower rev range.. and 500 more RM to rev out more.. add to that a small fuel useage reduction and she drives better now..

Yeah turbo lag is just not a factor with a 4L.
It's not a factor with any factory turbo car these days.
And the F6 still makes more torque, earlier, then the GT.
