How many supercharged outlaws weigh almost 4000lbs?
lets say its got 870rwhp(around what it does pull), weighs 3800lb(probably a low estimate), in a perfect world it's good for a 9.5.
138mph pass puts it at 780rwhp by the way.

At least this "dyno queen" did better then TRYHRD at the strip.

xcabbi, that was on ET streets, it's got a T56 and it was not only the cars first pass down the strip but the owners AFAIK.
It's still got IRS and it was in full street trim.
The owner has stated theres more in it, if he can learn to drive it and they can get the power to the ground.
Asking for a single digit ET first pass out is a tad naive of you.

Krisisdog, some people don't actually build cars just to go fast down the strip funnily enough.


A mate of mine use to work at nizpro with simon and he was telling me about it when there dyno day was on last year. He was saying they put the 1000hp engine into a blueprint xr6 turbo and it made 600rwkw and it was uncontrolable on the road, wheel spinning at 200k's.

Just an update with the twin turbo VT.


The motor has let go. The crank is now FUBAR.


They had it on the dyno and were tuning it. It made 755 ft/lb (1022nm flywheel) and 804 rwhp on 25 psi, 2 runs later she went bang. 2 bent conrods, crank is still in one piece but twisted (steel crank, offset ground), couple of mains studs were buggered.

Broke last saturday, they were planning to give it a 150 shot too, shame it never happened.

As for the i6, they will more than likely never get a "stroker" kit made for em as they pretty much are a stroker already. They have a 4" stroke, any more and they'll be like there 300 longstroker cousins and wont rev past 4500.

when are you people going to learn that a 1/4mile ET is not a good show of horsepower.

look at the MPH if that car ran 138MPH it has enough power to run a sub 10second pass, BUT the rest of the car and driver needs to be up to task.


you can't just shove 1000hp under the bonnet of a falcon and expect it run 9s.

it need the trans, driver, tyres and suspension setup to do it.

That blueprint xr6 turbo got written off, the motors in an F6 now.
The F6 was what ran down the strip, at WSID.
Not tuned by Nizpro anymore either.
