Why, what's wrong with the standard roller rockers? You won't find better.
To answer you question, I have never found any.............. |

Thanks for reply creature3, I'm not saying anything is wrong with them but i am extensively modifying an ef xr6 head and didnt want these to be a weak link.

fair enuf. Probably the best to contact Crow, Mace Engineering, or Camtech. They would be the best bet.

I don't think you need to worry about the strength of the factory rockers, some E/AU series cars have been boosted in excess of 300 RwKw. I think you will be pretty safe. On the other side, there was a mob doing after market rockers some years ago, trouble is I can't remember who it was. |

Swc, what are the differences between AB94 head and EFxr6 head. Also when you tell people to go o/size valves i take it you mean only the valve head/face

XR6 Head has larger exhaust valves, stronger springs, porting is also slightly different to the stock head. I just don't see the sense in spending extra dollars buying an XR6 head and then porting it. 94AB is a good base head for porting and polishing. Stock Head: 47mm intake valves, 39mm exhaust valves. XR6 Head: 47mm Intake Valves, 41mm exhaust valves. As for the oversize valves, it is just increasing the exhaust valves to 41mm. I have seen 49mm valves fitted for the intake. |

Im currently porting and match porting the head, in the process of putting totally bigger valves in it (valve head and stem) custom grind cam (i have 4 so far that have been ground) double valve springs, billet crank ( modeled of ef) alloy con rods mahle pistons with re ground valve relief, main stud girdle moly rings custom multi layer head gasket internally balanced. I know it seems like a waste of money but i want to see how far i can take the 4.0lt. Will also be running a 6sp man behind it.

There is a thread on here with a NA engine build with that objective - can't remember the thread name or the person. IIRC he did exceed 200kw. Search wagondads threads for porting and the porting bible. The runners are around 5mm thickness, so bear that in mind. There are threads also covering porting of the BBM and throttle body - well worth the read.

He was aiming for 200rwkw NA from memory. pete.h's thread is aiming for 200rwkw (ford-4l-and-6-cylinder-f1/208kw-n-a-from-an-ef-t72758.html?hilit=Gezza200)
