Im looking at maybe buying an XF ford for my 16 year old but the engine has been totaly cooked. It has a 4 speed manual box so that should be ok but what price would I expect to pay for a good engine. The car also has throttle body injection.
Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Don't know about NSW, but I've seen 4.1s going in the quokka for less than 100 bucks.. heck I bought my ED 4 litre motor for 150 from a ED being wrecked in the quokka.

just got rid of one of those actually.

was the car i got brought home from the hospital in. had it since new i think. got passed on to my grandfather and then he got rid of it last month.

you could have just come picked it up too. if it needs work, i wouldnt pay more than $150 or something.

if you lved any closer you could have picked up 2 or 3 complete setups for a carton of beer lol
