Hey guys
Got extractors installed yesturday, found out he installed the 4499's when i specifically wanted the 4480's. He knows this and the way things look he will change them to the 4480's no extra charge. So, should i keep the 4490's or go the 4480's ..... ???? I have a 5sp EL xr6, and in the future looking to install a Rspec3 or 2 cam or similar Thanks.

4480s have better low end torque then 4499s i think? and are better all round on all revs?
correct me if im wrong...im just taking a stab from what ive learnt

doubt you will get to keep the 4499's they will just replace them with the 4480's

correct me if im wrong...im just taking a stab from what ive learnt 4499's produce more power down low where as the 4480's produce power higher in the rev range. but if you have a reletivly big cam the go the 4480's

which 1's r the bigger 1's? i got the biggest 1's dunno what the part no. is!!! they helped my car get 125.6rwkws

wait 4499s have better torque down low? what happens if u get a cam with a 4499?
whats the difference between cam and 4480s compared to the cam 4499....same cam on both situations phong =P~

if you paid for 4480's by all means change them!
if you paid for 4499's and are happy with the power/combo keep them I've 4499's and I seem to make pretty good power and I'm plenty happy with em! but most ppl say the 4480's are s**t better. pro's + cons with both. but then again, if they 'f%&ked up with you once... do you want them butchering again for free?!

yeh im just happy to have extractors atm !!!
but i paid for and wanted the 4480's... and i think i will get them swaped over. just thought while i had the chance to choose, I wanted to see what ppl thought, specially since im after a cam in the future.

see if you can get a refund as its not what you asked first and try for free extractors

4480's no question.
Cause you have either paid for 4480s and only got 4499s, or you will be getting 4480s for the price of 4499s.
