The ford Type F fluid will some times help with steering shudder. Some people would be shocked to know that the special fluid is only tractor transmission fluid. I buy it in 5L bottles from Fuchs, works out hell cheaper then buying 1L bottles of 'special' power steering fluid. |

Just like you can use brake fluid as clutch fluid, it's still hydraulic fluid. I've run Dex 3 in a reco Power steering pump from repco since install and never had an issue, it seems it is a pretty wide use fluid too because it's what I run in my T5 too, according to the factory recommendations.
