Hey guys i removed my EDs main (big) muffler and put a piece of straight pipe in, it is now loud(but i think sounds nice and so do others) and wont pass the wof with it like that. just wondering if anyone has any tricks to quieten it down without having to weld my muffler back in so i can pass the wof then remove it afterwards?

cheers

make up a muffler with a flange at each end
and a piece of straight pipe with matching flanges so when you need to be quite you can swap it over easy.
altho you'll have to use a lot of gaskets

easy fix lol
1 box of stainless steel washing up scrubs
jam them up the exhaust with a steel rod
stick a crew all the way threw the tail pipe (about 6" from the tip) to hold them in
Easy, but is doggy lol

In QLD it doesn't mater, so long as it under the DB limit

if you need to quiet it down, maybe ask an exhaust shop to put a standard exhaust on for the test and then put your exhaust back on after, I did...
