I have a 95 ef and it makes a faint ticking sound only when i accelerate (even just slightley) it sounds like its coming from the passenger side behind the glovebox.

Its probably not worth worrying about but it drives me insane not being able to work out what it is. :?

oo, not comming from the engine bay?? could just abe a solinoid popinf in and out. you no like the tick from an indicator, its a solinoid (if u didnt no) haha i think everyone would no that

that will be the purge soliniod from the charcoal canister. its a normal sound all e-series make that noise. mine is fairly loud, nothing the radio cant fix

It sounds like when someone plays a prank on you and puts a ziptie on your tail sharft(AND NO ITS NOT THAT :lol: )

just to be suer next time u drive and can hear it take u'r foot off the throttle, it should stop, when accel lightly its there, but if u give it moderate throttle it should go away. is so yeah no worries then
