hey i am thinking of purchasing a wade 977B

i was curious will it be all ok in an auto 3 speed with a low ratio diff 2.73 i think

im not wanting a huge gain but i don't want to lose any low down power will it effect the low down at all?

i understand its a medium to high level rev range cam but im just worried since i got no stall converter and need it as a daily

with a diff ratio of 2.77 a 977b is going to be a touch gutless down low..

best to go with one of the smaller cams or change the diff ratio to something shorter then 2.77, like a 3.23?

you can get a adjustable cam gear to make the cam come on earlier to fix this problem, i had a 3.23 diff in my el 5 speed and its now running a 3.45 and the difference was great, if you fitted one it would help in the lower rpm to get up on the cams power better.

Yeah i plan to get one. Got a tickford head waiting to go on, just need the money. Would advancing one tooth on a standard gear help? Or would it be too much? I will be getting a vernier but was thinking that might help for now.
