Hey :-)

I need to flush the radiator of my girlfriend's '99 AU Falcon (Series 1).

Does anyone know the capacity of the abovementioned radiator? I ask this so I will know how much radiator coolant I need to purchase.

Thanks guys :-)

mmm to flush make sure it is on a COLD engine
remove the thermosat housing and lower rad hoses
and flush away

think the total cooling capacity is around 15l?

best bet is to either a, buy 20ltr of premade coolant and fill that way and have left over a good idea!
or b, buy enough concentrate to make again said 20litres and mix up 5litres at a time, once again u will have spare coolant,

Or do what i did
fill rad and engine block with distelled water from coles and add 1 bottle redline watter wetter! tis the shizzle!

never mix coolant types as this is weer the brown colour come from!
