Yea he probably would lower his price I think.
I don't want a epic hard clutch so that's good I guess. Oh and its still all new in the box. He never installed it. Wich is also good. Its orange too haha. Even tho you can't see it when its installed. |

If you can get it down to 100 or 120 it'd be better but thats not a bad price considering its still in the box.
Orange is alright, Exedy and Extreme are pink |

So they are for women and homosexuals?
Hahahaha Nah jks. How hard is it to put in a new clutch. Ill probably just get my mech to do it but if its not to hard id give it a go. You'd have to drop the tans and everything hey. |

nice score mate,
doing clutch is easy, just take the box ut seperate from the bell housing then getting the bell housing off is easy as ive done it a couple of times in the driveway. who cares what colour the clutch is, you cant see it.

I don't think I have to equiptment to do that in my driveway.
But ill cross that hurdle when I get to it. How much is a reasonable price to pay to get extractors installed. |

It's a one man + trolley jack job.

I don't have a welder tho. Don't you need to cut the cat off and move it back a bit so the extractors can fit in?
If its just a undo put in job ill go do it now in the dark and rain haha |

I have pacey 4499's on my Eb Ghia, with a a/c delco cat from a vt dunnydoor, that i bought second hand, it was almost new. Made a good difference to the power of the car. I also bought a new 2.5" straight thru muffler & 2.5" pipe and had that fit too, cost me $200. From the back of the muffler & over the diff, my EB already had 2.5" pipe so i didn't need that replaced. Rear muffler was already deleted.
PBR, aka clutch industries when it comes to clutches these days, are pretty good. The HD isn't very heavy under your left foot, well i don't think it is. I have one fit to my Eb Ghia. It grips very well. I think it cost me about $350 retail about a year ago, so if this guy has it new in the box for $150, that's not bad at all! Cheers ToranaGuy

Oh sweet. Gotta be beter then stock.
He said it was around that price. My car already has a 2.5in from the cat to the rear. So that should sound nice with the 4499s I think. My exhaust isn't loud tho. It has both mufflers in it and is only loud when you give it some. Simply because I hate exhaust drone. Thanks for all your help guys. |

just a quick query regarding heat shields over extractors. is there anything much to be gained by doing this? ive put extractors on the fg, should i cover up? i have the fg heat shield, (im guessing most late model falcons have the same one) will it fit over them? im running wildcat extractors if that makes any difference in sizing?

That's a good question about the heat shield over the extractors. I don't run one over mine, have not had any issues with boiling brake fluid or setting the clutch cable on fire. I did melt the cable a little when it moved, but i have tied it back away from the extractors now.
Cheers ToranaGuy

Advantage is keeping the engine bay heat down, specifically the brake booster which was known to crack from overheating in earlier models, dunno about BA onwards though.
I'd put the shield back on |
