Got a few questions about extractors.
Today I picked up some pacemaker extractors for $100. Don't know wich ones they are tho.
Ok so now with the questions.

1. Catalitic converters. Do I need a hi flow cat to install extractors or can I run the stock one.
(Engine is stock bar pod)

2. What sort of gains should I expect. Hard to tell without the type of paceys they are. But yea.

3. They need a re paint. I just wanna go black. What's the best hi temp paint to use.

4. Does the stock heat sheild fit over them or will I need to modify one.
If so is there a right up on how to do it easily.

Cheers all

Stock cat will do, they flow pretty well.

KW increase, depends on car, you will feel a better resonse though.

Paint, if you are going Black, use anyhigh Quality Hi Temp paint and follow the directions.

Std Heat sheild will not fit, I have modded a BA heat shield to cover mine and does excelent job, covers extractors completely.

Could you please post a pic of it troyman.
Does it look stock?
Guessing you'd just have to bend it a little right?

If you car is manual, make sure you keep the clutch cable away....it will melt.

Damn..... good score for $100 :!: I'm no expert but I would prob invest in one of the venom cats on this site I think you can get em for $170 from memory an free postage in Oz. Considering the money you saved on the extractors its not a lot more and should future proof for any upcoming engine mods? That's a bargain, I'm hoping to find a similar set at a similar price, I think ill be waiting a while tho.

It was so random how I got them.
I was at work (spar supermarket) at about 7am.
Im re packing the vegies and this guy comes up to me and goes "is that your falcon out the front?"
Ofcourse I say yes and he say basically I have all these spare parts off my old ea that I won't be needing and I've been trying to sell them. Do you need anything.

He has a heavy duty clutch im going to buy aswell for 150. Does the brand pbr sound right? Maybe that was the brand of the rotors he has.
Anyway it was a full fluke.

The pacys have heaps of surface rust tho.
But it comes off on your hand so no biggie.

PBR make clutchs, OEM quality gear so a h/d clutch will be pretty much XR spec. $150s an ok price, I'd try to knock him down a bit though considering its 2nd hand
