Hey guys, new to the forum, just thought I'd introduce myself aswell as ask a few questions, I'm Rouges. The old man and I are currently building a Ford XF Fairmont Ghia for my first car.
It's got an EL Xr6 engine in it, the engine itself is pretty stock appart for a slightly reground cam, maff tuned extractors, and a 2.5" straight through exhaust. Here's some of the more major things I'm planning to do to it in the near future, CMS stage 4 head and cam and a TIP chip. Just wondering what sort of horsepower I could expect after this has been done? A standard EL Xr6 from what I have read can complete the 1/4 mile in 15.4 seconds, and they weigh 1700kg. A standard XF apparently weighs only 1400kg. It's a manual with a T5 box. So I want to hear your thoughts on what sort of 1/4 mile time it will pull when complete? Thanks in advance. Cheers, Rouges |
