hey guys
I recently bought a ford BA XT, totally stock engine, exhaust system etc, that has been fitted with a full gt bodykit for my p-plates in a few months. I was wondering would anyone know of any ways to better bring out the sound of the car without altering the performance in a police confiscating it kind of way haha? any help would be appreciated. cheers

2.5" catback exhaust (mandrel bent) 1 resonator 1 muffler will have a really nice sound.

That'll cost ~$250-350

if you have more coin, whack on some Pacemaker extractors (ph4990 if i remember correctly) That'll give it more beefy note and improve throttle response as it is able to get the exhaust out of the engine much more efficently.

they can cost any amount really.. some go on ebay for ~$450 or you go to a shop it might cost you $600-$700

Pacemaker 4499 extractors, high flow cat, red back 2.5 inch cat back wich has sports mufller and then add straight through muffler at rear, a nice tip to suit

Alright cheers dude(s), but does anyone know the soecific legality of fitting a cat-back exhaust onto a p-platers car, it isnt exactly performance enhancing is it?

as long as you keep the cat and the original number of mufflers you can do whatever you like. You can remove one muffler as long as you have one left and the other is replaced by at least a resonator
