just bought myself a BMC panel filter for the beast, ($170!) but what i find amusing is they reckon putting this filter in gives you an extra 9 rwkw.

I think comhelp at the last dyno day actually swapped filters and hit the dyno again, dont think he was very impressed... either time

i think its funnier you paid $170 for a filter!
i paid no more than $100 for my K&N flat panel... dunno if i'd want to spend twice as much for something that makes a bees d**k of difference

not 9KW gain its an UP TO 9KW gain (which includes 0KW) i just paid $10 for a crappy panel filter which work just as well now i have (in theory) $150 to spend somewhere else (like a new cam which will give me 9KW)

the guy we use at work to do all of our dyno tunning found the that on a dyno there is no measureable difference between a K&N and a BMC filter of the same size

Either filters were not designed for rw power but where designed for better air flow and response, those qoutes are just s**t marketing schemes
