No, with the AU oil pan, you will need to modify the k-member for clearance. The AU will fit in all E- series with some grinding on the pan.

Will an ed head bolt upto an au bottom end? I have a good head, rocker cover, cam and crane valvesprings i want to keep but my bottom end is shot. Will an Au bottom end fit straight up??? Also where do i get a modified sump from?

No. The AU block and oil pan are unique. The alloy AU oil pan has provision for cross-bolted main caps, so the earlier oil pan will not fit the AU block.

No. The E-series pan will not fit the AU block. The AU has cross bolted mains that go thru the sides of the alloy pan. Try and get an EL engine, will bolt straight into your ute, and just use your own manifolds, harness, ECU, etc.

Do what i did and cut and weld the front of the sump on a 45deg angle and it clears the kframe no probs. Been in the car now for 12 months with no problems.

Hey all,I swear i did read every post in the entire 8 pages on this topic & damn,im still none the wiser so sorry if anyone bunches their panties.Question is will the head off my EB I 4.0l Auto bolt on to a 95 EF block
