Hi all,
Some developments... 1. replaced right rear sensor... made no difference. 2. used multimeter continuity to check loom from the rear sensor plug to the actual ABS module plug... perfect... full continuity no leaking between wires or earth. 3. Discovered my Alternator was randomly outputting 19 volts for periods of time.... have changed alternator, but problem persists.. I actually think that the tech doc is wrong for the EL module... as it says that 32 is right rear sensor.. but the EF unit lists 32 as incorrect voltage... since I know my right rear sensor is perfect and there is no wiring issue.. but I did have voltage issues.. seems possible that the tech doc could be wrong? I'm starting to think that my regulator overvoltage problems have damaged the ABS module and the only way I'll get ABS back is to replace the module.... is there any way of testing that that won't require a new module before I actually know if it's needed? cheers Frank |
