Is it possible to bypass your ABS Fuse with a ON/OFF switch to turn the ABS on and off with the flick of a switch?

All you'd need to do is put a relay inline with the ALB fusible link wire - it only powers the ABS. Your switch would make/break power to the relay coil. Ensure your relay is rated 20-40Amps or so. The Check ABS light will stay on when the relay is deenergised. The ABS unit won't store any fault codes due to this, so that's a plus as well.

I'm sure your insurance company would be happy about this mod! Not! Just a thought!

why not put a double pole toggle switch directly on the abs feed from the rear axles? this way u don't have any interference with on / off situations and u still have ABS on the front where its mostly used.

and these little wires are all at ur feet!

with no relay required as theres F**k all current.

OR

don't do burnouts?

so wat u are all saying is that it i carnt put a switch on to turn it on and off i would think that that is the easiest way just so i can sit on the break and throttle at the same tim to light em up and when i am done trurn it back on again

You'll find the ABS will log two fault codes for each wheel sensor, and shut itself down, so no ABS will be operating until next start, provided the condition has been rectified.
Cutting the ABS power as described is the best way, in theory it should log a faultcode for low voltage, but doesn't. Wiring would be simpler also.

It is the easiest way, but I'd say the supply line would be carrying high current, so a switch operating a relay would be the best setup to handle the current draw.

You'll probably find they may not be keen to do it for you. Modding existing systems to disable them is not a popular option in normal roadcars.

As mentioned, insurance companies wouldn't be keen either.

I trust this is intended for racetracks or organised/controlled environments, because if the coppers catch up with you and find your switchgear, they'll defect you in a flash.
