also, you undo/tighten them in sequence starting from the Middle working your way out. (refer to manual!)

Yeah like above...Go from the middle out when undoing the head bolts.
Get a breaker bar. Doesnt have to be long, just dont use the rechet. Slip a pipe over the end and pull like all f**k. Dont just ream the crap out of it but apply the pressure and it will crack. Once you do that it will come out easy as. Looks like your on the way to getting that head out. I used to pull the ford heads off and we had a breaker bar 1m long and that just had enough leaverage to do it. But use good heavy stuff like a breaker bar and an impact socket. We broke so many sockets undoing ford head bolts simply cause they were weak. Often that $15 set from supercheap will be better then the $150 set from sidchrome or snapon.

Hmmm, was reading the manual and it has the picture with the bolts number 1-14, seems I was confuzled by it though because I was going outside in with getting them out.
Anywho, thanks for setting me right, wish me luck.

yes thats right.
Installing go up as in 1,2,3 etc (middle to outside) when removing go 14,13,12,11 etc (outside to inside) think about it, the head wants to LIFT so undoing the middle first will only make it harder to undo the last Outside bolts. so make sure you follow the manual with the procedure!

oh, and probably a good idea to get that intake manifold and exhaust manifold off before you go undoing the head.

Lol, I knew that, I think...
Exhaust is going to be a big problem, rusted bolts everywhere, lol. Will the cat be supported the weight of extrators? Worried about that.
