Hey guys just wondering if anybody has ever thought of this idea and if anybody has any info on it.

I was thinking maybe something like the shift kit with a variable resistor somehow wired into the car.

Not a clue, that's why I'm asking lol. What controls the traction control?

series of wheel speed sensors and the ABS module. it would be possible if you got an aftermarket computer to control the ABS module to only pulsate the rear wheels brakes when it senses your spinning

nothing.

There is NO traction control in a EF or EL Falcon

I'm pretty sure the "Computer Torque Control" refers to the BroadBand Manifold (BBM).

The Inlet Manifold is technically called a BroadBand Manifold on EF and onward I6's. It is the scroll shaped setup on the side of the head. Inside that manifold there are 6 butterfly plates on a common shaft actuated by the cylindrical gizmo at the front. The idea of this design is to make the runners long for low rpm torque and then switch to shorter path for higher rpm (greater than xxx-rpm). The "shortening" is achieved simply by opening the butterflies and allowing the air to pass straight down to near the head ports rather than having to travel around the full length of the runners.

I believe there is a thread about it here somewhere that explains it in greater detail with pictures too, I remember seeing it, but dammed if I can find it right now mate.

Edit: Refer to this thread, the 4th picture down from the top.
