My first car, a 260Z had pacemaker headers and a full 2.5inch mandrel with NO cat and one relatively small straight through Lukey muffler... omg... you want a nice sounding car... that was it...

Yeh... just get the cat hollowed out... you can do it yourself. Basically makes the cat into a small resonator. Your emissions will be nice and lethal :D

i'd be walking out of there and not going back. if the guys to much of a retard to be able to get the cat converter to fit onto the headers (yes I relise it isn't a bolt on, does require some work), then he wouldn't be allowed anywhere near my car.
by the way, i got pacemaker comps (which are much more reputable than advance) and a high flow cat converter install for $640.

Be careful taking the insides out of the cat, its poisonous, don't breathe the dust etc, make sure you use rubber gloves if you are going to touch it. Seriously.

back on topic :D Anyone else running these? I have my heart set on Pacey's but still wanna learn about the other types..

Exhaust place today prefered these because of the welds.. also recommended ESA over Lukey.. He should me the headers, very welding, but squashed press bends.

Are they good enough or was he just saying this because he can buy them the cheapest, and sell them only a fraction less than pacey/others and make a much larger profit?!

I've got Advanced header's in my EF. Combined with a 2.5" zorst they do the job quite well! However i was able to have my standard cat modified to be used with them, which was the smarter option over the high flow IMO. As they're not really needed. The headers seem to be quite well made and the exhaust puts out a wicked grumbly note :)
