i know there are posts on this forum for this but i cant find any im just wanting to know how to do this on my ef fairmont

Unless you get a tune. It's only the other e series with dizzy's you can statically alter timing on.

The j3 has SOME features that MAY allow you to do so. otherwise you need an offset kit

there is a way to advance the timing on a ef but i'm not aloud to say how!

i believe modding the balancer pickup might have some effect........ but honestly why bother, just get one of many different J3 chips on the market, and do it properly along with all other aspects of tuning

trust me there is another way and is way easier than a chip and cost nothing.

yes there is a very easy way to do it. Takes about 10 mins and cost you nothing :)
