i just want to compare the vp holden 3.8 with the ed ford 4.0 so which is better out out the vp holden and ed ford
another question, in the ed ford if the head gasket blows is it better to replace the whole engine with a au series 2 or 3 engine so the whole engines younger or is it better to just replace the head gasket with a au series 2 or 3 head gasket because i want a ed fairmont desprately and ill buy a au engine and put it into the ed with ed manifolds and serpintine belt if thats what it takes to get the ed back running good if the head gasket blows |

not being one eyed ford mate but the ED wins hands down.
AU's do the gasket less often but what you have to keep in mind is ED are getting old and if a 4.0l head gasket is done properly and maintained with coolant changes and oil changes it will see most ED's till the end of there days. the AU engines are a better engine all round smoother stronger and better gaskets in place of the ED's leaky ones. how many k's on the ED donk ? |
