hey guys,
i have an EF I6 with pacemaker ext, hi flow cat, 2.5" exhaust, new o2 sensor, cleaned isc, 8.8mm leads etc... i recently put in a crow stage 2 cam and put it on the dyno and its making s**t all power difference from before. the afr is up the s**t - its running waaayy too rich (using the same amount of fuel cruising as it should under heavy acceleration)...how can i change this to lean it out?? one suggestion was to put the vernier cam gear in it and play with the timing, anything else i should check? thanks |

Adjustable fuel pressure regulator to lean the mix out across the board?
Or a chip to tune the air/fuel ratios in all conditions.

hmmm... i have a funny feeling mine is doing about the same thing eh - i have a feeling its a little on the rich side with the same kinda mods - whats the cost/benefits of the adj fuel pressure reg? the chips seem a rather expensive way to go really - chiptorque ones start at min $600 or so for new ones, and are very basic in their capabilities - they can only be sent away for changes etc. was thinking about an EMS as per johnos (SVO XR6) but i don't have the justification for the cost with my minimal mods

ajst fuel reg would be the way to go
Malpassi= $200ish put on on, get it on the dyno and ajst till its rite easy peezie

sounds good to me! i just wanna get the most from what i've got currently - so if its an adj fuel reg, so be it!
