The layout your describing sounds similar to mine

the clearence between the BBM and bonnet is very tight. I had to flatten out the underside to stop it from knocking. Also i would move the 180 deg bend closer to the TB so it doenst hang over the extractors (it would look better as well).

yeah it's very close to that one. the kink out the air box is not so far up though, it's just as it leave the box. ie: there is just enough straight to clamp in the box and yeah the lead up the TB is shorter

http://www.fordmods.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=24710
the one for sale in that thread has straight pipe from the air the box and is the 2 peice design

It looks like a FTG one, same as mine.
They're not making them anymore.

Will be fitting a Gas Research TB to my EF I6 soon. Thinking about using their cast alloy inlet pipe (less heat) but it is about $240. Hmmm.....

I have a FTG pipe on dispaly in my gallery. I don't think the silver coating does it justice unlike red (mine) or black (Voxace).
Only problem with the design is a slight rubbing between the straight part of the pipe connected to the throttle body with the bonnet. Other than that it is all good and gives the car a good induction roar :)

I think its a matter of opinion, and we all know about opinions :) Because my car isn't a tickford, red would of looked out of place, with no other red under the bonnet. Black was my first idea, but I thought the silver would look good, with still looking relatively stock.

guys i'm just waiting for one bend to be delivered, then i make the first one.

It will be very similar to what hornet has on his car.

once it's posted and every one agrees on the style i'll start a dedicated thread for the group buy and we'll get things rolling
