finshed the air box today, couldn't keek the pod on without the box, sucking to much hot air, didn't have the problem with my ed but hey it goes alot better now!!!

not bad mate you'll probably find a k&n panel filter will work better in the airbox though..

maybe but this sounds better, i've always had pods in all my 6i's though!

i did that to my pod a few months back and ive had a k and n panel but i prefer the pod in box i think,very hard to pick the diff either way i think

i did this a while ago, but i went one step further, i cut out the bit at the front of the lid, along the indented line.

it seems to help as the pod does get some dist and the occasional bug in it, a good sign air is getting to it. not only that, but it does look pritty damn good, one of the first things you see when looking at the bay.

P.S. i also have some pipe running from the "std cold air" feed to the pod itself.
