The bottle neck in those pics. Its smaller than the 3" pods that are on there. What a waste of time, put on a 3" pod, then straight after it, choke it down to 2& a bit inches. If you look at mine, its 3" all the way.

the ea was using an existing intake pipe, as most of mine are so far.
the ef is straight off the intake pipe, before & after closing the lid of the box, so there is no bottleneck.. & for the record it sounds louder without the lid, bout it.

it's never been there from the start. nore the snout in the ea intake tube either.

What does that mean???? The original EF 6cyl airbox had a funnel/restricter/airhorn piece in there. From the start.

the EA had the 3 inch intake the whole way. the EB and ED have the bottle neck next to the air box.
obviously vibr8n has done the BBM conversion so parts are easy to change |

have used both on me XR diddent seen to make much difference pod (exposed) just made more noise and got dirty faster so i went back to the box with EL GT snorkel..
