Hi, I have an 02 ba futura and I've done a bit of aesthetic modding and am about to get my full licence, so I can finally start doing some performance mods, probably just some light stuff to start with but I was looking at different air snorkels and thinking about getting a bigger one. In particular I was looking at this one

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/GENUINE-FORD ... 903wt_1037

I was looking at my engine the other day and noticed my snorkel looks incredibly small. Will this improve the intake for the car? Will it increase or decrease the fuel economy (keep in mind I'm a uni student, I need all the money I can get hahaha), will it have any affect on the sound of the engine? Is there something else I should be looking at?

Thanks for any input.

Yes a bigger snorkle will do like the one on ebay.
Are you just getting that or whole CAI system? Eg 3" piping from the air box to your throddle body?
