yeah its an ef. thats the go with the spring?? first ive heard of it easy to fix or what?

im not saying thats what it is, but they're a special coil of wire round up in a plastic case that sits in the steering wheel, to let the airbag get voltage (also cruise wiring).
If this breaks or shorts, the light will come on. airbag has to come off the wheel, and new clock spring will have to be purchased if that's what the problem is.

what does it mean when your airbag light doesn't illuminate at all? :S although i haven't really looked around.

Check the Airbag fuse, probably blown. If so,replace with another good one of same rating,10amp i think,if it blows straight away then it's another computer you need, or it should flash a code
