does anyone know if their are any alternatives to the T-Bar gear shifter in my AU Falcon. i like the look of the BA gear shifters but dont know if it would fit in my AU.

How about a column shift? Uber rare these days and uber cool

would be uber cool, but think for now i would rather keep it all where it is... just walk something a little more stylish than the chunky t-bar that it's currently got...

far from simple, but I'm sure it could be done. or fix the car and hunt down a manual conversion.

You might be able to put the shifter head on the AU stick, but even if it fitted the whole BA shifter wouldnt be much good on an AU unless you converted the ECU and whatever to the tiptronic software, otherwise you would lose the 3, 2 and 1 positions, and the tiptronic gate would possibly have neutral and 3 instead of up and down.
I'm pretty sure you can get the big race style shifters to suit 4 speed auto. but that would make it even uglier |
