Well I've had this van for over 18 years now in one guise or another so trust me when I say I won't be getting rid of it anytime soon. Thanks for the other comments guys.

Extractors..id try something like Genie? or Wildcat?
Out of interest, what sort of power were u making with the 186? quater mile time ?

if your still going an aftermarket ECU you cant use the 4spd auto (its ECU controlled) unless you start getting complicated with V8 or EA TCM's.
You can however use an EA3spd auto and bellhousing (bottom two bolts dont line up with the holes in an AU block though. Your van also looks awesome!

I had no idea that the trans was ECU controlled. I'll look into using the EA trans. Do you know if any later model is compatible as well?
