Well it seems my girlfriend Melissa decided to sell the Miragee...

and buy a 5spd Heritage Green EF XR6 (with factory sunroof)...

First night already got into it, LED's in the Dash (red/blue) along with the Red LCDs and next week 17's and exhaust already courtesy of me .. lol

2nd Day it was already at Joes @ Crescent Motorsports getting dyno'd, it pulled 89kw at the wheels (not a 'peak' but a average/constant)

And just tonight finishing off the LEDs and the stereo (thanks to Jase for the help for that too!) The mod bug has come again, will keep you guys posted as we will be dyno'ing on every mod (eg. filter change, mandrel bent intake, exhaust/extractors etc)

Yours isnt clean enough yet thou haha!

LED mods take only 30min to install max, but making the led componants is determined on how fast you are with soldering n stuff..

Not a very big job, just prep leds 1st then chuck them in later on.

I thought stock XR's were capable of more than that, i mean im not gloating or ne thing but shouldnt a stock XR manual do better than an Auto. ( ie mine)

Its a kickass car dont get me wrong but i would of thought an average of 100rwkw atleast would of been more like it. :?

Ne way good to see another XR on the road. :P

as he said
would of been under 30 mins, but i was 2 leds short. the dash is half blue half red (Girl thing lol) .. otherwise i would of had it all red.. but eh!

Just keyhole/aircon/demister button left to do now ..

An xr in shootout mode should normally pull 102-108 rwkw in the ef/l range; since this dyno wasnt quoting shootout, but the more usable constant power figure its about normal - a normal non xr would usualy pull 98-106 as we found from our melb dyno day, and many many 6cyl were run.

Okay fair enuf, i havent had my XR dyno'd to measure its average rwkw so i can justify that figure. Thanks for clearing that up :)

shoot out mode is a actual mode made by Dynodynamics.. not an actual dyno mode so ive found out ..

mdx dyno do an average/constant dyno reading, you see it bounce up to 130+ if your say 100 etc and average will be about 116 or so at the wheels then
