Got an all time record on the trip meter today when filled the car up. Left servo and trip meter flashed 800km. Now the highest I have ever got out of it was 752km.

When i fueled up i was doing highway driving and the average consumption on the trip computer was 8.8l/100km.

Has anyone fueled up and got a reading higher than 800km on a full tank of gas?

Cheers............

got 800 easily in my xr6 wagon. fully loaded travelling from sa to qld got over 900 if you combine distance travelled and distance to empty. ave 7.8 on highway. 2 and a bit tanks from qld to sa. sitting on 100 - 110 with a/c on. used to get 620 - 650 round town.

600 is about the absolute best from my BA and that's only if you really babyfoot it... with my usual driving it's more like 450k's to a tank.

Yeah they have a 68 litre tank in the ef/el series. I normally get about 500 km's around town. but it just loves it on the open road. Cruise control on about 115 to 120 and it uses 7.5 to 8 litres per 100 k's. Try getting a commodore to do that.
