Its not a straight swap, EA-EL is 2:1 ratio and EL(hyb)-AU is 1.8:1 anyway. the point of the swap is to get the 2:1 rockers on there. the have to be in the same location for the manifolds to fit on. and the BBM manifolds are all the same until BA. you don't just change the rockers over you change every thing over. pull out all the 10mm bolts and pick up whats there and swap it all. Not saying it WILL work but. if frank reads this and knows some one with a EF or normal EL with a wade cam it might be worth trying one weekend. what do you say frank. have a spare few hours to see if it all fits and works???????????????????????? never know you could well end up be the guy to save all the hybrid owners only problem i think there might be is rockers hitting the valve retainers |

Try and do changeover on a REAL Tickford head from an earlier EF / EL XR6 / EFII/EL Series 1 Ghia (just to be safe) Wreckers love changeover...and if they're none the wiser, you can say "mine's a 98, but I want a 96 because I want a painted rocker cover"
Sucks to have a hybrid POS |
