well i just got a manual conversion, and im sitting on exactly 2000rpm at 100ks, and wen i had the auto in, i was sitting on about 1500rpm..
now is the 5th gear of the manual shorter then the 4th of the auto.. ? otherwise, i dont know wats goin on here? am i sitting toooo high? ive got a 3.08 diff rite now.. I THINK.. and im bout the get a 3.7, hate to see wat i would be sitting on then :S

4th in the Auto is .68:1
5th in the manual is .72:1

damn i was thinkin caz its 5spd, would sit lower on the 100.. but yeah makes sense now tho cheers...

If anything I'd say 1500 is too low at 100km/h, mine with 3.27LSD in an auto sits pretty much dead on 2000 at 110km/h dunno what it is at 100km/h maybe 1800?

my auto with 3.08 diff sits at about 1750rpm at 100km/h...

yeah u guys might be rite, maybe it was 1750 in the auto.. but yeah either way, i wasnt as convered about the numberes, i was confused caz i thought the manual would sit lower, but anyhow...

2250 with the 5spd, and a bit under with the auto...
3.45's should have come factory with ALL the autos I swear to god...

At 100 my ED aust sits on 1700 and 110 sits on 1900. remember the torque convertor locks up in the autos and rpm's drom maybe a grand or so for fuel economy
|

haha its all worth it having a manual in! so so much better to drive, and alot better acceleration compared to the auto too
