Put it this way, is 0.5 - 1.0 killerwatt worth $230.00?

Doesn't seem like a good buy, and that's probably about the only gain in KW you will get using Paccies over generic.

As far as quality goes, as long as they're all m/s it should all be the same.

Hope this helps.

It depends. I don't know if my overall top power increased when I changed from Lukey's to Pacemakers, but the drieability of the car and low down grunit increase from low to mid revs was worth the extra dollars!!!
Too many people on here look at peak power increase, unless your actually dynoing the car and going in power comps or whatever I don't see how it matters. I'd rather increase the grunt down low, torque or whatever, which is were I actually drive me car!
Also pacemakers bends and mandrell and all that.

Yours feels like top end?
Mine feels like good bottom end with a really strong mid-range.

I don't really notice as much down low cos I don't floor it all that much from standing start. Maybe it's just cos when I'm above 3500rpm and over 100km/h.. it just keeps pulling and pulling.. the speedo doesn't slow down.
It's probably got more power throughout the range lol

If its about the look and the sound get any old extractors if its about power get the pacies.

Not much difference on a stocker but as you add the mods it begins to become worthwhile.

Unless you go for a turbo anyway

my opinion, if you have a fair bit of work and get your car tuned by all means go the pacies but for a daily driver with not much power go for cheaper option ;) tottaly up to the buyer of course!

hahahaha this was just a casual question.. there's no need for suggestion of a dyno day to compare extractors. Paccies are like Coke.. marketed well. I'm not saying they don't do the job better.. but in my opinion they don't do the job $230 better :) That's all... money vs quality/brand name/performance. You gotta draw the line somewhere.

Nope. No proof. Just a guess.
I too would rather ramp up my low-mid than achieve a few extra killers up top.
My point was, does this bloke (not you) really think that an extra $230.00 is worth the very minimal gain (top, min, low, whatever) he's gunna get by going the Pacies.

However after reading TWR7X's post, he's obviously compared the two and has noticed a difference.

I wouldn't have thought that there would have been a noticable difference. Obviously there is.

What do YOU reckon he should do TICKFORD_6???
