hey,
just wondering how hard it would be to fit a au engine into a mighty boy, the most common thing I've found is the f6a into them, but i don't want 3cyl, I'd like 6. and the falcon motors are good and tourqey, so how hard would it be to fit one of these in, and get it registered.
cheers,
mitch

I think you would find it would be far too long for a mightyboy.

Might have more luck with a commodore V6

That would be an interesting project. I reckon the firewall would have to go or atleast be heavily modded in order to fit a AU 6 into a tiny little Mightyboy......But then again I remember seeing some pics of a Mini panelvan with a 351 Clevo in it so anything is possible.

Imagine the list of upgrades required. Strengthened chassis, Big brake upgrade just for starters. One bloke to talk to would be John Taverna from Taverna Chassis in Leo street Fawkner. He's a top bloke who builds door slammers and customs for a living so if anyone would know it would be him.

Best bet is to put a Vtec engine in to it.
Beginning of last year, i was thinking of putting a 13bt into a mini. Was to much money. But just think about how fun that would of been.

Also some people in Europe do a package for Vtec engines for minis. Most popular engine conversion for the mini i think.
