HAVE A 2000 XR6 FORD FALCON HAS BRAND NEW AIR CONDITIONING UNIT BUT AIR CONDITIONING IS NOT COLD ENOUGH, HAVE HAD CHECKED BY AUTO ELECTRICIAN AND AIR CONDITIONING. THEY CAN'T FIND PROBLEM UNIT IS WORKING PERFECT EVERYTHING HAS BEEN TRIPLE CHECKED. WAS EVENTUALLY TOLD TO CHANGE HOT WATER TAP AS THIS SOMETIME EFFECTS AU AIR CONDITIONING AND OTHER VEHICLES THESE GUYS HAVE WORKED ON SAID WHEN THEY HAD CHANGED HOT WATER TAP AIR CONDITIONING WAS PERFECT. WHEN YOU TURN GUAGE ON DASH FOR HOT OR COLD WHEN YOU TURN TO HOT AND BACK TO COLD IT DOESN,T ALWAYS GO ALL THE WAY BACK IN RELATION TO HOW COLD THE AIR CONDITIONING IS. (PHYSICALLY THE GAUGE GOES BACK AND HOT WATER TAP). HAVE CHECKED HOT WATER TAP AND ALL WORKS PERFECT. WHEN TURN CAR ON AND PUT AIR CONDITIONING ON THERE IS A SLIGHT VACCUM BANGING SOUND THAT COMES FROM UNDER THE DASH OR NEAR LEFT SIDE ENGINE BAY. ANY IDEAS? PLEASE?

1) The water tap may be rusted out and or rusted open. You will need to pukk the tap to check it.

2) No need to yell. Turn the CAPS OFF,

3) Garage is for builds not particular problems with your car. Need to be posted in another forum.
