long story
the original radiator had a small leak in the core, being the tight a** i am. I got a second had radiator from a wrecker. a few weeks later shifts were not happening when they should (going into neutral between 1 and 2 2 and 3 etc. got home my radiator fluid was pink milk not good. trans cooler had ruptured in to radiator.
set my tight a** ways aside and brought a new radiator flushed the radiator and engine with a solvent at the advise of the place i got the radiator
(luckily no coolant in the trans changed fluid anyway)
last thusday the drivers side tank split a 3 inche split between the pipe from pump to the pipe to reserve tank. this was after driving in traffic something i don't normally do
being a very stubborn tight a** i took the tank off and tried my hand at plastic wielding worked nice leak a tiny bit ran some metallic seal-up thought it for 45 mins leak stopped (ps i threw the thermostat at his point)
ran the car with no fans till it hit the a as in normal no problems
took it for a hot run flat out to 120 brake to 20 repeat got to almost r
no prob
all good to today went to get a lower presser radiator cap on the way home highway driving burst the tank a the same place temp was only at the o of normal
i have two therios

one i am a s**t plastic welder

two there is still oil in the system and it has blocked the radiator
interestingly it did not blow during high rpm and load only at low load and 1300 rpm makes me think pump is not working well at low rpm and allowing oil to build up in the radiator

any thought much appreciated

maybe you have a possable head gasket about to fail and its pressurising the cooling system?.

or your just unlucky and need to stop being a tight a** and replace the bad parts with new ones. :)

well if your original radiator was no good then the 2nd one failed and now the new one has split..(or do you meen split reservoir tank)there is definatly something serious wrong
and there no real way around it your still going to need another radiator now
you need to get it checked asap..
unless you want to keep replacing parts from what sounds like a pressurised cooling system from a possable f**k head gasket.
