I have sourced a low klms AU engine to go into my EF. Just from looking around the forums it seems that the EF cams and AU cams are not interchangeable???

I noticed that someone said that they had put a highly worked EF head onto the AU block. So if i still wanted to keep my mild cam that i have in my EF at the moment is it possible to just swap the 2 heads over???

If i can mix them, do any of you guys have a recommendation on what cam i could get and price please?

Cheers guys.

Have you read through the development work on Jim Mock's website? He recommends using the EF head (bigger ports than earlier E-series) on an AU block (bigger main bearings). I used a lot of the information to plan my engine mods.

You can probably find most of your answers by doing a search on here.
