i know alot of people would of asked this question and iv seen it done before, but im looking at put an au tickford engine into my ef fairmont and want to know wot parts people had to change.
i know the sump wont fit around the k-frame and i think you need to change the wiring loom.
if any1 cant help let me now

hey mate your spot on about the k fram...
i have an ef in my back yard with a au motor...

you don't need to change the loom just run full ef gear...
sept down low rpm it seems to have a little pinging but nothing major an if you can be bother or worried about it that much just go get a tune..

so wot bout knock sensor, cam angle sensor. Or does that deppend on if u r runin a dizzy or coilpack

jst run everything that the ef has mate, coil pack, cam angle sensor and knock sensor :)
i was goin to do this to my old ef before 5 0 defected it.

just run everything that the ef did mate an it'll be fine
so au motor with all ef electrical/running side of things...

so i can use all my pully's like water pump power steering and all that. Iv also read that you have to change the alternator to au back other's said you dont, so does it matter wot au engine you put in.
When i do it i'l put up a build thread for other people

Just type into the search section fitting Au motor into Ef it has all you need and pictures for it as well its what i did and put on here for others
