Hi everyone, sorry if this is in the incorrect forum
Putting an au1 engine into my EL, I have a very simple question, that I cannot find an answer to anywhere, When bolting a EL T5 to the AU block, do I use the AU Sandwich plate? Or the EL Sandwich plate? Cheers, Tait

What bellhousing are you using?
are you aware of the bolt patturn differences from e series to au? either way you can still use e series bellhousing. when I put au engine in my ed I used the au sandwitch plate. |

Use the AU sandwich plate for either the E series bellousing or the AU bellhousing.

when i finally put the AU engine in, i will be using the AU plate & AU bellhousing [only coz i want bolts allround - the guys that have already answered have used the e series bellhousing on the au without hassles]

Im using E series Bellhousing, So I should use the AU Samdwich plate? I'm aware it's missing a few bolts but your ED punched 250rwkw and was fine wasn't it?

It will be fine. Has been done many times with both manual and auto. |
